How Acupressure Helps in Migraine Treatment

All patients suffering from severe headache and migraine get completely cured within a few days through acupressure. Some patients know the reason for these diseases, while many do not. Therefore, it is better to press all the reflex centers in the feet and hands, especially those centers that hurt when pressed.

To relieve these problems, first press the points at the back of the neck (Picture No.1), at the junction line of the neck and skull, from point no. 1 to 7, one by one, for a few seconds with the thumb. After that, press slightly away from the spinal bone on both sides of the neck, using the thumbs or the thumbs and fingers together, on each center for a few seconds. If there is severe headache, then by pressing these points, the pain will either disappear completely or reduce significantly.

Next, press on both sides of the neck (picture No.2), from top to bottom, with the thumb or fingers. After pressing at the back of the neck and both sides of the neck, also press the toes and all fingertips of the hands (Picture.3). These parts are related to the brain and the head.

If migraine and headache become very severe, there is a special kind of tension, heaviness, and pain in the head, neck, forehead, and eyes. To remove this, massage or apply pressure on the thumbs and all fingers of both hands and feet, from top to bottom on all sides, (as shown in picture no.4 & 5)
In addition, apply pressure on the thumbs of hands and feet (see picture 6), both from the top and the bottom, because these parts are directly connected to the neck. If the headache is due to any disorder in the neck, then applying pressure on the thumbs provides very quick relief.

To quickly reduce and remove migraine and severe headache, pressure should be applied like massage on all channels of the feet and hands using the thumb (see Picture no. 7 and 8).
The most effective point for these problems is the triangular area on the hand (Picture no. 9), where the thumb and first finger meet and form a crease.
By pressing this point for 2–5 minutes, 2–3 times daily, migraine and headache can be prevented.
Even during an attack, if pressure is applied on these points, the headache quickly disappear or becomes much lighter.

Diseases of the stomach are closely related to headache and migraine. Many people get migraine attack when their stomach is upset.
Therefore, apart from pressing the above mention points, one should also apply pressure on the reflex point of liver, stomach, and intestine on the feet and hand (as shown in Picture no. 10).

In addition, both eyebrows should be held with the thumbs and fingers and pressed gently, slowly, for a few seconds (Picture No. 12).
